1 In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
...12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
...You will see greater things than that.” 51 He then added, “Very truly I tell you, you will see ‘heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on’ the Son of Man.”

Praise God!
A blessed Tuesday to all. It feels great to start again a new book- The Gospel of John. Yes, if you have been reading and contemplating with me everyday, we were able to finish (2) books- The Book of Mark (1-16) and The Book of Luke (1-24). As I have shared, to make Bible-reading a habit, make it a practice, and more than it's an upliftment for our soul, we will have a deepening relationship with our Creator :)
Jesus is the light of the world; and that is an unquestionable truth; if we haven't accepted Him as our Saviour, then we are still in the darkness, but if we do, then how blessed are we because we are already walking in His light :)
But then again, if we are truly walking in His light, do we know the truth? Do we know how to live our life for our Loving God, Jesus Christ?
As Believers of Jesus Christ, it is our responsibility to know how to live for Him. A relationship is always two-fold, and the same goes with our relationship with our God. And to be a responsible Believer is to know Him more and more so that we will be able to discern what "truth" really means :)
Here's a beautiful reading about the "truth" on how to live our life for Christ; may we all be enlightened and practice what He taught :)

Living My Life for Christ
> God has given us some very clear instructions in His Word as to how we are to live for Him.
> These include things like the command to love one another (John 13:34-35),
> the call to follow Him at the cost of denying our own desires (Matthew 16:24),
> the exhortation to care for the poor and needy (James 1:27),
> the warning to not fall into sinful behaviors like those who don’t know God (1 Thessalonians 5:6-8), and the list goes on.
> Jesus summed up a life lived for God when a teacher of the law asked Him the most important of commandments. Jesus replied, “Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these” (Mark 12:29-31).
> Jesus’ prayer prior to His crucifixion also sheds light on what our purpose is. Referring to believers, He prayed, “I have given them the glory you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them” (John 17:22-26).

> Jesus’ desire is for relationship with us.
> “Man’s chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy him forever.” A life lived for God is one in which that takes place. We pursue God with our entire being – heart, soul, mind, and strength. We abide in Christ (John 15:4, 8) and therefore act like Him by loving others. In doing that, we bring glory to His name and also enjoy the relationship for which we were originally created.
> Those who wish to live for God must seek Him in the only place He may be found—in His Word. Therefore, we must dive into His Word and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit to apply the Word to our lives.

> Living for God means giving up ourselves and desiring God’s will above all else. As we draw nearer to God and come to know Him more and more, His desires will more naturally become ours. As we mature, our desire to obey God’s commands increases as our love for Him increases. As Jesus said, “If you love me, you will obey what I command” (John 14:15).

Today is the day :)
If you have not received Jesus Christ yet in your heart, today is the day. May you embrace His love and His gift :)
"Lord Jesus, I believe You are truly the Son of God. I confess that I have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. Please forgive all my wrongdoing, and let me live in relationship with You from now on. I receive You as my personal Savior, accepting the work You accomplished once and for all on the cross. Thank You for saving me. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You. Amen." (ref prayer by: Mr. Charles Stanley)
