#103 Honor the God Most High

A blessed and reflective reading to all (".)

Acts 19 (excerpts)
Paul in Ephesus
...“Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?”

They answered, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”

3 So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?”

“John’s baptism,” they replied.

4 Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.” 5 On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.

11 God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, 12 so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them.

...and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor.

Praise God!
This world is really changing fast. How I wish that it is for the better but in reality, it's the opposite. Generally, people focus more on everyday life's struggles, worries, self-sufficiency, and/or the pursuit of worldy things- money, fame and pleasure, rather than the pursuit of God.

But the most amazing good news is- we can walk in God's light everyday if we will let Him take charge of our lives. He is the God Most High; He knows all our longings; He knows our desires, He knows our needs; He always provide us of all what we need and more; He knows what is best for all of us.

Time and attention-- that is what we can give to our Loving Lord, and as we surrender to Him, He will let us live our lives honoring Him with our individual lives and we will learn to let go of all things that is not in accordance to His purpose and will :)

Prayer for Impact (InTouch Ministries):
Please pray with me,

Dear Loving Father in Heaven, praise and glory to You! As we commemorate Thanksgiving, teach us to be grateful always all the days of our lives. May we remember to give thanks to all your blessings- big or small. May you continue to bless us abundantly. May our lives reflect a deep longing for You, a relationship to value more than what we have, and may You are dearest Creator, the giver of all good things, keep as strengthened and renewed as we wait for You with joyful and grateful living. These we pray in Jesus name, Amen.(WEEK 3 (NOV.) Glory to GOD!

Read with me; God speaks to us through His words :)
November 19, 2011- Leviticus 19-21

Today is the day :)
If you have not received Jesus Christ yet in your heart, today is the day. May you embrace His love and His gift :)

"Lord Jesus, I believe You are truly the Son of God. I confess that I have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. Please forgive all my wrongdoing, and let me live in relationship with You from now on. I receive You as my personal Savior, accepting the work You accomplished once and for all on the cross. Thank You for saving me. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You. Amen." (ref prayer by: Mr. Charles Stanley)

Why am I doing this? Simple...."I am driven by the eternal destiny of others."
