#53 Forewarned and Encouraged

A blessed day to all (".)

A verse to contemplate as we reflect on our spirituality today-
"teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom."- Psalm 90:12

Luke 12 (excerpts)

...There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.

...What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.

...Fear him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him

...Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

...“I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God.

...But whoever disowns me before others will be disowned before the angels of God.

...anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.

...“The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest. 17 He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’

18 “Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain. 19 And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’

20 “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’

21 “This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.”
...“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. 23 For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. 25 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? 26 Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?

...But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.

...For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

...“Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning

...You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”

Praise GOD!

The most beautiful, amazing and wonderful part of being in God's light is we can always rejoice everyday, every moment, every breath because of HIM!

I am not just saying it for the purpose of sharing, but it's the reality of it. When we are in tune with God, when we are in His light, when we continue to walk in Him, He shares us a certain kind of "joy" that is exhilarating and never ending :)

Joe Stowell shared in his "strength for the journey" that:

> we are so blessed; as compared to the people of the past in the Bible, we have an edge.

> God dwells within us in the person of the Holy Spirit ("He is in us and with us,"- John 14:16-18) to convict, comfort, guide, and encourage. His 24/7 presence is waiting to be tapped and used no matter where we are or what we are facing.

> We have the Bible; we have the full revelation of Scripture that the Holy Spirit uses to teach and direct our lives. No Bible hero had the privilege of having a Book that could be carried, read, memorized, and used in transforming ways to tell them everything they needed to know about God and themselves—but you and I do!

> Jesus, our Loving Savior, saves us from sin, cancels hell, and guarantees heaven; He has already done far more than we deserve and enough to keep us happily praising Him for the rest of our lives!

On "Our Daily Bread" sharing for today, Anne Cetas quoted:

> As we continue our walk with our Loving Lord, "we have to renew our mind and refocus our thoughts on the Lord."- Romans 12:2

> When we are starting to worry, we can remind ourselves: “Worry does not meet my needs at this time—or ever. My heart’s need is to trust God. I will ‘be anxious for nothing’ ” (Philippians 4:6).

> When we envy what another person has or does, we can reinforce the truth: “Envy does not meet my needs at this time—or ever. My need is to give thanks to God. His Word says, ‘Envy is rottenness to the bones’ (Proverbs 14:30), and ‘In everything give thanks’ ” (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

How can we not rejoice in Him?
Thanks be to GOD!
Thank you to the Holy Spirit who dwells in us and continues to give us the discernment; may we all see God's good, pleasing and perfect will through the Holy Spirit's renewing of our minds.....and our whole being :)

Romans 12:2
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.

Glory to GOD!
