#182 Prayer for Spiritual Strength

A blessed and reflective reading to all :)

Ephesians 3 (excerpts)

Prayer for Spiritual Strength
14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Praise the Lord!

Truly an Amen!

Yes, all of us need this prayer-- the prayer for spiritual strength :) As Believers of Christ, we need spiritual strength and renewal everyday. God sustains us with it but we need to ask the indwelling Holy Spirit in us to empower us spiritually so that the works of our Lord will manifest in us and we will be able to overcome all the desires of our "human nature." We need to pray too that our Loving Lord will continue to work in the hearts of unbelievers so that they may see the beautiful love that Jesus offers to all of them.

The immeasurable, unconditional, everlasting, infinite, eternal, and perfect love of our Loving Father in Heaven has been manifested in Christ Jesus, His Son Incarnate, who humbled Himself to the lowest of the lowest so that He may be able to reach out to all of us (Believers and Unbelievers, Jews and Gentiles), He bled and died to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and showed victory over sin and death by resurrecting after the 3rd day, and now seated in the right hand of the Father, waiting for us to come into the knowledge and understanding through love and faith, and grace and mercy, and repentance and forgiveness, that He (Jesus) alone is the way to salvation and everlasting life. If we are not to embrace His beautiful gift of love and salvation, we have sealed our fate-- eternal damnation in the lake of fire.

Are we choosing to "shrug" this eternal truth, or are we bowing down on our knees and asking Jesus to be the savior of our lives?

Choose life, choose Jesus :)

May Jesus' love abounds in us all everyday (".)

Bible in a Year:
Read the Bible in One Year- Here's a reading plan where you and I can focus on God's Words everyday....to make it a habit, make it a practice, Amen :)

Read with me; God speaks to us through His words :)
February 8, 2012- 2 Samuel 10; 1 Chronicles 19; Psalm 20

Today is the day :)
If you have not received Jesus Christ yet in your heart, today is the day. May you embrace His love and His gift :)

"Lord Jesus, I believe You are truly the Son of God. I confess that I have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. Please forgive all my wrongdoing, and let me live in relationship with You from now on. I receive You as my personal Savior, accepting the work You accomplished once and for all on the cross. Thank You for saving me. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You. Amen." (ref prayer by: Dr. Charles Stanley, InTouch Ministry)

Why am I doing this?
Simple...."I am driven by the eternal destiny of others."
