#120 God's Love and His Wrath

A blessed and reflective reading to all (".)

Romans 9 (excerpts)
...Is God unjust? Not at all! 15 For he says to Moses,
“I will have mercy on whom I have mercy,
and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”
16 It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.

...Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.

...who is able to resist his will?”
...who are you, a human being, to talk back to God?
...Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?

“I will call them ‘my people’ who are not my people;
and I will call her ‘my loved one’ who is not my loved one,”

...there they will be called ‘children of the living God.’”

...For the Lord will carry out
his sentence on earth with speed and finality.”

Praise God!
Do you believe in the 2nd coming of Christ?

I do!

Since I was a young girl, when the end of the world is being given emphasis in the homily of the priest (Roman Catholic), I can't help but get shivers and be afraid. Most probably because I dread the day that God will pour out His wrath to the people of the earth.

Time have passed, I am now much older and I believe that I have an in-depth understanding of God's wrath, the fear I have in me was replaced by hope and longing of the 2nd coming of our Almighty God- Jesus, the king of kings and lord of lords. Why? Because now, I firmly believe that I am His because of His love for me :)

Matthew 24 and the Book of Revelation gives the full details of Jesus coming back for His chosen people, His elect, His remnants, the co-heirs of God, God's children, as they were called, as well as pouring of God's wrath,  the defeat of Satan, and the judgment of all- dead and alive, belonging to the book of life and those who will suffer in the lake of fire forever. And then, the new heaven and earth will come down from heaven, and God's dwelling will be with His people.

I long for that day to come. I long to see my God face to face. I long to experience the fullness of life without death, nor sorrow, nor tears, nor hunger, nor war......It is truly amazing to be renewed everyday and be confirmed that:
...the Lord will carry out
his sentence on earth with speed and finality.”

Point to Ponder:
Are you ready to see Him or are you afraid?

A blessed day to all (".)

InTouch Impact Team Prayer Partnership:
Please pray with me,
(for the month of December)

WEEK 2: This Christmas, ask the Father to stir the hearts
of the lost, giving them a hunger to know Him personally.

Pray for Him to provide witnesses who can clearly share

the gospel with them.

WEEK 3: Christmas is especially difficult for those who
are hurting emotionally or experiencing another type of

unmet need. Pray for these people to sense the comfort

and encouragement of the Lord.

WEEK 4: Lift up believers this week as we celebrate Christ’s

birth. Pray that we will be able to meditate on the spiritual

meaning of the holiday in the midst of all the festivities.

WEEK 5: As we begin a new year, ask God to show every

believer His will for his or her life. Pray that each Christian
will have a heart that is willing and obedient to the Lord.

Glory to GOD!
May Jesus' love abounds in us all everyday (".)

December 7, 2011- Numbers 33-34

Today is the day :)
If you have not received Jesus Christ yet in your heart, today is the day. May you embrace His love and His gift :)

"Lord Jesus, I believe You are truly the Son of God. I confess that I have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. Please forgive all my wrongdoing, and let me live in relationship with You from now on. I receive You as my personal Savior, accepting the work You accomplished once and for all on the cross. Thank You for saving me. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You. Amen." (ref prayer by: Dr. Charles Stanley, InTouch Ministry)

Why am I doing this? Simple...."I am driven by the eternal destiny of others."
