#123 A Living Sacrifice

A blessed and reflective reading to all (".)

Romans 12 (excerpts)
...I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

...Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.

...in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.
       If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance w/ your faith;
       if it is serving, then serve;
       if it is teaching, then teach;
       if it is to encourage, then give encouragement;
       if it is giving, then give generously;
       if it is to lead, do it diligently;
       if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

...Love must be sincere
...Hate what is evil; cling to what is good

10 Be devoted to one another in love
Honor one another above yourselves
11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
12 Be joyful in hope,
             patient in affliction,
                   faithful in prayer
13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.
16 Live in harmony with one another
Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position.
Do not be conceited.
17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil.
Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.
18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord
20 On the contrary:
   “If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
       if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Praise God!
Today is a very beautiful message of how to live our lives for Christ. Apostle Paul gave us some details on living life for Him; a life of love in its sincerest form, selflessness, not conforming on the pattern of this world, reaching out for others, using our gifts, being in harmony and peace with everyone, not be proud, no thoughts of revenge, but focus on overcoming evil with good.

Thanks be to God for He has given us the way to live for Him actively, may we all acknowledge and put it in practice everyday, every moment, every breath :)

A blessed day to all (".)

InTouch Impact Team Prayer Partnership:
Please pray with me,
(for the month of December)

WEEK 2: This Christmas, ask the Father to stir the hearts
of the lost, giving them a hunger to know Him personally.

Pray for Him to provide witnesses who can clearly share

the gospel with them.

WEEK 3: Christmas is especially difficult for those who
are hurting emotionally or experiencing another type of unmet need. Pray for these people to sense the comfort and encouragement of the Lord.

WEEK 4: Lift up believers this week as we celebrate Christ’s

birth. Pray that we will be able to meditate on the spiritual

meaning of the holiday in the midst of all the festivities.

WEEK 5: As we begin a new year, ask God to show every

believer His will for his or her life. Pray that each Christian

will have a heart that is willing and obedient to the Lord.

Glory to GOD!
May Jesus' love abounds in us all everyday (".)

December 10, 2011- Deuteronomy 3-4

Today is the day :)
If you have not received Jesus Christ yet in your heart, today is the day. May you embrace His love and His gift :)

"Lord Jesus, I believe You are truly the Son of God. I confess that I have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. Please forgive all my wrongdoing, and let me live in relationship with You from now on. I receive You as my personal Savior, accepting the work You accomplished once and for all on the cross. Thank You for saving me. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You. Amen." (ref prayer by: Dr. Charles Stanley, InTouch Ministry)

Why am I doing this? Simple...."I am driven by the eternal destiny of others."
