#125 Build Each Other Up

A blessed and reflective reading to all (".)

Romans 14 (excerpts)
1 Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters.

...7 For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. 8 If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. 9 For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.

...For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. 11 It is written:
“‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,
‘every knee will bow before me;
every tongue will acknowledge God.’”

12 So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.

...let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.

...19 Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.

Praise God!
How can we build each other up?

By love :)

Love is the only way; not the superficial kind but that which transcends understanding; not based on human emotions but based on the unconditional love Jesus modeled for all of us-- it is the agape kind of love. If we remain in Him, He will show us the way. The love He wants us to share is a kind of love that respects each other, love that do not judge, love that helps the weak become strong, love that endures all heartaches and hardships, love that leads to peace and mutual edification.

Truly, it is easier said than done, but He did say that the life that leads to everlasting life is a narrow gate, not the open-wide kind where everyone can enter with ease.

Are we up for the challenge?

Have a great day in the Lord!

InTouch Impact Team Prayer Partnership:
Please pray with me,
(for the month of December)

WEEK 3: Christmas is especially difficult for those who are hurting emotionally or experiencing another type of unmet need. Pray for these people to sense the comfort and encouragement of the Lord.

WEEK 4: Lift up believers this week as we celebrate Christ’s

birth. Pray that we will be able to meditate on the spiritual

meaning of the holiday in the midst of all the festivities.

WEEK 5: As we begin a new year, ask God to show every

believer His will for his or her life. Pray that each Christian

will have a heart that is willing and obedient to the Lord.

Glory to GOD!
May Jesus' love abounds in us all everyday (".)

December 12, 2011- Deuteronomy 8-10

Today is the day :)
If you have not received Jesus Christ yet in your heart, today is the day. May you embrace His love and His gift :)

"Lord Jesus, I believe You are truly the Son of God. I confess that I have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. Please forgive all my wrongdoing, and let me live in relationship with You from now on. I receive You as my personal Savior, accepting the work You accomplished once and for all on the cross. Thank You for saving me. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You. Amen." (ref prayer by: Dr. Charles Stanley, InTouch Ministry)

Why am I doing this? Simple...."I am driven by the eternal destiny of others."
