#121 The Arms of Jesus

A blessed and reflective reading to all (".)

Romans 10 (excerpts)
...4 Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.

...“The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim:

9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved

11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent?

As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!

...faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. 18 But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did:

“Their voice has gone out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.”

....“All day long I have held out my hands

to a disobedient and obstinate people.”

Praise God!
God's love and grace transcends time, boundaries and race. He have opened His arms wide to receive us all-- good, bad, black, white, asian, caucasian, young and old. We all are being given the chance to embrace His gift. He is telling us everyday--"receive me in your hearts and you will never ever regret it."

Declare Him in your mouth, believe Him with all your heart :)
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved

Point to Ponder:
Everything starts with a step 1. Even at the onset, we have all been a child first before we became adults. We took in milk first before solid food. We studied elementary before highschool or college. So it is but natural to accept Him first before His works can be seen in our lives.

My question is: have we taken the first step or are we ignoring His wide-open arms?

May His abounding grace shine to all so that you may truly see His love :)

A blessed day to all (".)

InTouch Impact Team Prayer Partnership:
Please pray with me,
(for the month of December)

WEEK 2: This Christmas, ask the Father to stir the hearts
of the lost, giving them a hunger to know Him personally.

Pray for Him to provide witnesses who can clearly share

the gospel with them.

WEEK 3: Christmas is especially difficult for those who
are hurting emotionally or experiencing another type of

unmet need. Pray for these people to sense the comfort

and encouragement of the Lord.

WEEK 4: Lift up believers this week as we celebrate Christ’s

birth. Pray that we will be able to meditate on the spiritual

meaning of the holiday in the midst of all the festivities.

WEEK 5: As we begin a new year, ask God to show every

believer His will for his or her life. Pray that each Christian

will have a heart that is willing and obedient to the Lord.

Glory to GOD!
May Jesus' love abounds in us all everyday (".)

December 8, 2011- Numbers 35-36

Today is the day :)
If you have not received Jesus Christ yet in your heart, today is the day. May you embrace His love and His gift :)

"Lord Jesus, I believe You are truly the Son of God. I confess that I have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. Please forgive all my wrongdoing, and let me live in relationship with You from now on. I receive You as my personal Savior, accepting the work You accomplished once and for all on the cross. Thank You for saving me. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You. Amen." (ref prayer by: Dr. Charles Stanley, InTouch Ministry)

Why am I doing this? Simple...."I am driven by the eternal destiny of others."
