#145 Boast in the Lord!

Time for us again to continue our readings on the New Testament. Since we have finished with the Letter of Paul to the Romans, we will start with the Letter of Paul to the Corinthians.

Have a blessed and reflective reading :)

1 Corinthians 1 (excerpts)

...For in him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge—

6 God thus confirming our testimony about Christ among you. 7 Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed.

8 He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ

9 God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

...For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

...For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.

...It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.

...“Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”

Praise God!
It is only through Jesus Christ that we can say with confidence that truly "we are not shaken."

Yes, we can fully claim with humble admittance that when we continue to yield to our Lord in full reverence, when we delight on His words everyday, and trust Him all the time with all of our lives, we will be truly enriched in every way.

I have embraced in my heart the term I once heard while watching Good Life 45- "blessed beyond measure" because it's the most visual description of how our Loving Lord moves in my life and my family. He is truly actively present in my life, leading me in a personal way. As I lean more and more to Him, He let me see what to think and what to do. He shields my life and my relationship with my loved ones.

How can I not boast in Him!
Yes, my God is my light, my stronghold, my all!

Have a great day in the Lord!

Glory to GOD!
May Jesus' love abounds in us all everyday (".)

Bible in a Year:
Read the Bible in One Year- Here's a reading plan where you and I can focus on God's Words everyday....to make it a habit, make it a practice, Amen :)

Read with me; God speaks to us through His words :)
January 2, 2012- Judges 13-15

Today is the day :)
If you have not received Jesus Christ yet in your heart, today is the day. May you embrace His love and His gift :)

"Lord Jesus, I believe You are truly the Son of God. I confess that I have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. Please forgive all my wrongdoing, and let me live in relationship with You from now on. I receive You as my personal Savior, accepting the work You accomplished once and for all on the cross. Thank You for saving me. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You. Amen." (ref prayer by: Dr. Charles Stanley, InTouch Ministry)

Why am I doing this? Simple...."I am driven by the eternal destiny of others."
